Aegean Greece!  June 7 - 14, 2025  $1,425

The Cyclades

Paros, Naxos, Santorini, Amorgos, Ios and Mykonos

"The Cyclades are the picture-perfect Greek islands where whitewashed villages tumble down to azure bays."
"The most famous island group in the Aegean Sea comprises some of the most beautiful islands in the world! Gorgeous sandy beaches, architecture in white and blue, traditional lifestyle, folk music, warm, hospitable people and barren landscapes with isolated chapels turn a trip to the Cyclades into a lifetime experience."

Nothing stays the same!  Amorgos (above and below), an island I've wanted to visited since I first sailed here 15 years ago, is about to change.  Now is the the chance to visit:

"The unspoilt Greek island under threat from cruise ships":

"There was a precious sense of discovery – of sharing something special with the handful of fellow travellers that had made the effort to visit this remote island, Amorgos. The magic could well be destroyed, however, if plans to build a new cruise terminal in Katapola, the island’s tiny port, come to fruition. It will ease the burden faced by overcrowded Mykonos, to the north, and Santorini, to the south, some have argued. But many fear the impact on Amorgos."

We'll also sail into the caldera of Santorini!

We'll start our sail in Paros, often rated as the "most beautiful island in Europe",
which puts us in the heart of the Cyclades!:

Forbes Ranks Paros in Top 3 Global Summer Destinations

According to the publication, Paros is currently a quieter alternative to Greece’s more touristy island, but it is rapidly developing and gaining fame.  Included in Condé Nast Traveller’s ’24 Best Places to Go in 2024,’ the island often attracts celebrities like Tom Hanks and Jeff Bezos..."

The best airfares from the U.S. to Greece are typically found by first finding a good roundtrip fare to another major city in Europe-- preferably one where you may want to stopover-- then book a separate airline to Athens (ATH) or Paros.  Ferries run often to Paros from Athens.
